The Friends of Waterloo Meadows are a voluntary group of people who meet normally twice a month. Our aim is to care for the meadows which are situated off Elgar Road in Reading, and to improve them for both people and wildlife.

The meadows are a piece of countryside quite close to the town centre. |

Young or old are welcome, you do not need any experience and you can give whatever time you want to. So, if you would like to meet different people and do something different, come along. |
If you think working in the meadows would be too physical for you, don't worry! We have other things you can help with, such as fund-raising and social events. "Yes, we do have fun too!" - it's not all work. |
